Metadata for Pitch Meetings needs updating. Someone had previously added a “re-air” episode of Wonder Woman 1984 as Season 2026 Episode 2 (S2026E02) on TVDB. This was incorrect, as the re-airs are not supposed to be posted as mainline episodes. The user has since changed the episode, and replaced it with the correct new Episode 2 of “Stranger Things Season 5”. TVDB is now accurate, and there does not appear to be a TMDB entry.
So now only Plex’s own metadata is incorrect, still listing episode 2 as “Wonder Woman”, and erroneously listing Stranger Things" as episode 3. Please update the metadata.
Well, the show is on TMDB but only the very first episode of the first season has been added.
I wonder if adding S2026 to TMDB with the correct info might trigger a cleanup on the Plex side.
I think this just needs someone on Plex’s side to cleanse the metadata, or simply to re-pull the episode data. IMDB has the show, however it lists the two newest episodes in “Unknown” season instead of Season 9. This could be contributing to the error, but most likely it’s just that Plex grabbed TVDB info before it could be corrected.
Edit: Ah, it seems sometime in November, it was deleted from TMDB’s database. This topic is one member going to update the show, and finds the entire entry gone. Based on the Show IDs, I suspect the person went on to try to recreate the show, and gave up after one episode.

Pitch Meeting is a youtube broadcast from a youtuber and as such is not allowed on tmdb as per their bible rules. It never had a proper distribution beyond youtube.
Looking back over the forum threads on tmdb I can see various reports where it was created and then subsequently deleted by a moderator.
In saying that, looking on tvdb https://www.thetvdb.com/series/343451-show I can see its linked to one of the previously entries at tmdb so I’m going to go and remove that on tvdb which may or may not help in the cleanup on the plex side. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t. Give it 48/72 hours and see how it goes.
Yeah, tried it this morning. Now, if only I could contact the guy who keeps changing TVDB to list the re-air episodes such as the CURRENT E03 the Percy Jackson movie pitch meeting…
To be honest, I don’t spend any time on either sites forums, but I would guess that maybe that is the place to address this or at least get the attention of the interested parties.
TheTVDB shut down their forums. The only “help” you get from them on an issue is support tickets, which they seem to ignore. I know they have not responded one word to my ticket regarding this series being messed up by some person.
According to the TVDB sub-reddit, a lot of people are getting no responses, and haven’t for years. Additionally, some series have just flat out been getting deleted lately, such as “Blood of Zeus”. Word is that some data corruption deleted some shows, and they had to be manually recreated. However, they get recreated under a new ID instead of the old.
