Is there a way to play all results in a “category”?
Here’s my example, I search “Christmas” and under the Genres section there’s “Christmas”. I then click into that genre where I see several albums listed as having a match on the Christmas genre.
Is there a way to just play all results? (i.e. play the Christmas genre)
This applies to other sections that are on the main screen: “Recently Played Music”, “Recently Added Music”, etc.
I have created a smart playlist that grabs the latest 4 weeks of added music and as such suffices for the “Recently Added Music”, but I keep running into this.
If you’re talking about Plexamp, you can search for and then hover over and shuffle all music inside a genre.
Yes, for Plexamp, sorry. That’s perfect! No idea why I didn’t think of just doing what the album’s, songs, etc. do
Is there a way to do this for sections like Recently Added? Besides just playing 1 album under that section?
No, Recently Added is an infinitely scrolling list of everything. If you want to bound it, make a smart playlist and bound it (e.g. music added in the last week, month, etc.)
That makes sense. I have done that (making a playlist) and that’s perfectly acceptable, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything in Plexamp. Thanks!
