Play Music From "Parent" - i.e., Section, Folder etc

I'd like to be able to click on an entire library section or folder (when you're set to view "By Folder") and say "Play" to have Plex play everything underneath, regardless of album or artist.

 

Ideally I'd like this to come to the Windows Phone port as well, but I realize that's not exactly a huge consumer base. :)

Play queue aware clients (currently iOS, web and PHT) can play entire sections, or filtered/sorted sections. We don't currently support this for 'by folder' - how are you using this view at the moment?

Hi Dom!

Well, I have a bunch of music organized into folders, typically by genre, and a set of hard links that link them to hard-coded playlists on the file system.  If I could sync and play (and shuffle!) by folder and all it's children, I'd have an easy work around for a lack of playlists.

For now you can also go to a regular music section view and filter based on genre, and play all/shuffle from there.
