Play artist from Plex music library and Tidal

I have many albums that are not in Tidal and I would love to be able play the artist in shuffle that include the albums that I have in my Plex music library and also the albums from Tidal.

This takes a few steps, but is probably the closest (and apologies if you knew this already):

  • Click on the artist.
  • On the artist page, notice lots more albums under the TIDAL albums hub which you’re missing. Get existed.
  • Depending on the app, you can browse directly to the TIDAL artist using context menu, or else tap on any album and then go up to the artist.
  • Hit shuffle to shuffle all TIDAL albums.

There’s no way to shuffle all of your exact albums with all of TIDAL’s, at least at the moment (presumably there would need to be some de-duping).

Thanks for the reply Elan and yes I know I can shuffle all the TIDAL albums from a artist but it would be great if the shuffle include the album from the same artist that I have in my library that TIDAL don’t have.

Just to clarify, how would that set be different from all albums from TIDAL? In this scenario, do you have albums which TIDAL does not?

Yes, as I mention at the beginning of this discussion I have many albums that TIDAL doesn’t have.

I am a terrible reader, I’m sorry about that!

The only way i can think of for now is just to create a playlist with your albums and the albums from TIDAL (not that we support “universal” playlists) and then shuffle that. Sorry that it’s a pretty clunky approach.
