Shuffling a Tidal library on (RPi) Plexamp

I’ve just started using Plexamp on my Raspberry Pi, exclusively using Tidal with no local tracks/library, and was wondering whether there was a way to shuffle the “My Albums” collection to get a random selection of tracks from there?

I assuming not since the “My Albums” page is loading pure album metadata, not tracks, so there would be a lot of requests involved to get track information for random albums. Is the way forward to sync my album collection from Tidal to my Plex library and then use that as the source (while still playing from Tidal)?

If that is the way forward, is there an easy way to sync those or would it be a case of manually adding each one?

As an aside, I wanted to note a couple of bugs(?) I noticed around the library view.

  1. Sometimes the Library page flat out fails to load anything (my source is Tidal). A refresh of the page fixes it, but since I’m running mine on a RPi touchscreen in kiosk mode I have to use an external keyboard to do the refresh. Is there a way to have it retry on a failure? Although in devtools I can’t even see a request go out when I hit the page…

  2. The sort by album artist just doesn’t work. The request goes out with “sort=artist.titleSort,album.titleSort” but the response still has it sorted by date added.
