The album list for an artist seems to be a bit wonky. There’s often a list of lots of random tracks. A good example of this would be David Bowie.
If you go to the tidal app - it shows a clean list of 37 studio albums.
Plex shows 244 albums making it impossible to explore.
Not just that, but sometimes versions of albums are missing. There can often be a clean and explicit version of an album and both won’t always show in Plex. You’ll get one and not the other and you won’t know which without listening.
It appears part of the reason for this is how the albums are sorted. On TIDAL, there are separate areas for albums, live albums, compilations, etc. I think Plex is just taking them all and making them available.
Also, I’m not sure how the artist pages are compiled on Plex, but they often can link to albums that aren’t even available on TIDAL anymore and will not play.
