Play count/history not being recorded for shorter songs with sweet fades

I’ve noticed recently again that some songs don’t appear to be getting play count/history recorded in Plex.

Specifically some of the short tracks off the new Cynic release “Ascension Codes”. The tracks are around 20-30 seconds and I have sweet fades enabled ( when disabled, they seem to get recorded ).

I’ve attatched my plex amp logs from just after playing two tracks which wern’t being counted.

I see in the log:

Dec 17, 2021 09:07:05.171 [Javascript] INFO - Player: Sending state changed [A] Cynic - A’jha108 (4567/27706) in state playing with artwork true.

But nothing else about the track after this…
