I have a smart playlist setup that contains tracks that have never been played. I’ve noticed that some tracks played in Plexamp don’t ever get marked as played. I’ve isolated this issue to Plexamp as I’ve played a track that I know has been played in Plexamp and played it through Plex web and the track is then removed from the playlist.
Is it possible the tracks which don’t get listed as played are shorter?
(There are some improvements in this next release as well which might address the issue.)
There are three tracks that I remember were somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes long.
Could sweet fades be the reason? From what I know a track must be played through the 90% mark to be registered as «played». If it fades out too early, it will not be registered.
