I have setup several Plex servers but now I have a project where I want to play the content directly from the server PC to a screen connected to it, my problem is I need to control what will be played via a touchscreen, probably a tablet, in effect I want the tablet to become a remote control, is this possible ?
You need to install and run both “Plex server” and “Plex HTPC” on the same machine. That’s certainly possible.
Then use Plex for Android mobile or Plex for iOS as a remote control.
