Play random from deck feature

So sometimes i cant decide what i want to watch lol… i kind of wish i could just select “On Deck” and hit “Play” and then just a random episode would start playing…

You can do that from the Recommended tab of a library using Plex Web or Plex for Mac/Windows (not from the server home page):

  1. Open the tv-show library’s Recommended tab
  2. Click on On Deck
  3. Click Shuffle

Need to admit that I haven’t used this myself yet… so I cannot tell if it’ll shuffle only the items from on-deck at the point of time you start the shuffle, if it’ll start repeating them at some point or if Plex updates the play queue as the subsequent episodes of those shows are being added to on deck.

oh ok… i think when you hit on deck from the home page it doesn’t give you that option. you have to do it from the series library. good to know.
