I’m trying to watch movies on my Xbox One. But all videos show me the same message that my Server (synology) isnt powerfull enough. How can make it work on my Xbox. All the videos are MKV format. Is it even possible?

The Xbox can play much files natively so I’d suspect it’s trying to transcode the audio portion. This should be possible wih most synology devices in the last few years for a single stream in realtime.
How can i make this work. What settings do I need to change?
