Playback Error An error occurred loading items to play after 1.25.3 upgrade

Upgraded PMS from 1.24.3 to 1.25.3 and started getting an error on every video:
Playback Error: An error occurred loading items to play

After googling the error, there was one potential cause of error being a corrupt database, so followed steps on Repair a Corrupted Database | Plex Support and Restore a Database Backed Up via 'Scheduled Tasks' | Plex Support, however, this had zero effect.

Then attempted to downgrade back to my previous version, however, this just results in the server page 404’ing.

I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do at this point. Any suggestions?
