I’m thinking my tuners keep dropping off which produces an error “Playback Error - could not tune channels”. I get this error in MS Edge on my server, and also on my ROKU device. I’ve been getting this error since I upgraded to 1.16.1.1273, and I have since upgraded to 1.16.1.1297 hoping it would fix the issue (it didn’t). If I restart plex everything is good for 4-6 hours, then the error starts back up. Running win 10 server with multiple tuners. I have attached my logs, any help/advice would be nice.
I opened my console and tried to launch a tv show and the following error popped up
Gracenote: Exception at line 1036, error -1870593916 (The client timed out or was disconnected waiting for a response from the Server - often this indicates there is something keeping the SDK from reaching Gracenote’s servers - like proxy or firewall settings.)
I found another response in this forum stating that Gracenote is the old EPG provider and I need to upgrade my Plex server to a newer version. Unfortunately I am already at the newest version.
Rebooting my server fixes it for a few hours, but that is not a permanent solution. I just rebuilt this server a few months ago because of an issue with PLEX not DVRing shows so I would rather not have to do that again. Is there an email I can send to a support team?
