HDHomerun is fine and other channels are fine. Plex restart fixes the issue.

I would really appreciate some focus from Plex on this. I have gone without any response for weeks on other threads. I am about to go back to directv
Same issue here for me. High percentage (>50%) of recordings failing with error “The recording was aborted”. When trying to tune the channel via the web gui after this has happened, I get the “Unable to tune channel (no parts)” error. I tried rebooting the single HDhomerun Extend that I have connected to plex and that didn’t fix it. I also put a fan on the extend, thinking maybe it had become too hot, but no, I was able to tune to it with my HDhomerun app. I rebooted and then, after a half hour of f*cking with it, I rebooted Plex and it immediately could tune and start recording again.
Such is the life of the home media center enthusiast. Since 2009.
