Playback Error Unable to tune channel (Not on air) when using Watch Now button on Grid Guide

Plex Server Version 1.13.6.5339 on Windows Server 2016
Plex Player Version 2.17.0.890 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit build 1803

Things appear to be getting worse instead of better.

I just updated both the Plex Media Server and Plex Media Play about 30 minutes ago, so both of these have been restarted. No matter what channel I try via the Grid guide using the Watch Now button I get Playback Error and Unable to tune channel (Not on air).

I have two HDHomeRun Connect Quad tuners and both just updated firmware tonight as well. I am notable to view any channel via the HDHomeRun app.

There is currently one recording in progress so the DVR function seems to not be affected, but I do have other issues getting NFL football games to schedule recording times and channels properly (see my other post I have about NFL games).

If I go to the old Guide data like using the Discover filter and choose what is ON RIGHT NOW, I have no problems at all to view Live TV at all.

The Grid Guide still needs work!!!

Hey, I’m just replying to keep this up; Did you find a fix? My issue searching lead me here; it has recording shows though; We could watch off guide, but not record & view; thought it was file rights issue, now can record just no live view

Just ran into this today. Deleted the DVR, added in the tuners. Still doesn’t work. I am on Version 1.13.8.5395.

I really can’t say that I’m having this issue anymore. I am running latest versions of Please media server and media player.
