Playback error

Hi,
I seem to be able to access Plex on my home network over LAN and wifi. But I cannot play the files. I get the message:
“Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.”
I have checked the file location in the Plex web app and it seems to fit with the folder in the NAS where the files are stored. I am keeping the files on a synology 1817+ NAS.
The files are still there within the NAS folders. But somehow they are not playing.
The NAS IP address on the network seems correct. then as firewall is off.
Any advice would be welcome…
