I have 5 Xbox one devices in my house…ALL of them now get Playback Failed on any video I play. I currently use Kodi with the Plex plugin (because the plex plugin was ALWAYS buggy with video playback), I can see the videos on my server…but all of them get “Playback failed”.
My server was on an older build, updated to the current build, same issue
Rebooted the server…Same issue
Rebooted the Xboxes…Same Issue
uninstalled and re installed app,…same issue
rebooted my network router and switches…same issue
I installed the Official Plex app and tested from microsoft store…same issue…in fact it registers to the server but then says it cant find the server after it is linked.
All my devices are Hardlined…none are wireless, 1 gig switches and router
My Roku Ultra plays plex just fine…no issues…and its doing 4k
