Having an issue with playing HD and UHD files on my LG WebOS tv. It seems to be playing via direct stream. This is being reported by plex dash app. The video plays fine for a while 8-20 min and then the video will stop. If I open up the server logs in the plex dash app, and wait a bit (10-45 sec), the video will start playing again. The plex server is running inside a truenas jail and was installed from the freebsd install and not the truenas plugin.
It seems like the media server is going to a “sleep” state when this happens and seems to “wake up” when i start the plex dash program and go to the server logs section. I have tried playing a video that is transcoding and it seems to help a bit but does not completely resolve the video stopping issue. The video stops more often with a UHD file vs a HD file.
I did not use to have this issue. This is a new issue in the past 6 months to a year. What can i check or what logs can i supply to get some help with this issue?
