Playback issues on Samsung Tizen 4.0 (Q9FN) since App 3.72.1

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the playback of movies of all kind of types (1080p, 4K and SD content) mostly in mkv container or mp4 and avi files.
The movie plays normal for a while until suddenly the picture freezes for a second or two. While the picture is frozen the audio playback plays normal. Then the movie keeps playing normal again for some time and the picture freezes repeat. This happens serveral times during the whole playback of the movie in different time intervals. The player also doesn’t show any buffering information at all.
All of these contents are streamed directly to the TV and no transcoding is done by the plex server.
This Problem first startet after the update on V3.72.1. Now I have updated to the new V3.84.2 but it hasn’t changed anything.

I’d like to reinstall the latest app version which was before 3.72.1 on my TV because I had no issues before the new UI update. Unfortunately I can’t find any download file for it.
Could anyone please provide an install-file for the old version ?

I am having the exact same issue. I just updated to version 3.92.3 hoping it would improve, yet it continues to happen. One thing I’ve noticed is that subtitled play a role here. When using pgs subtitles, it happens very frequently. With SRT subtitles it happens a bit less, but still often enough that it’s annoying to day the least. No subtitles, and the issue is still there. I’ve also noticed that it’s the same chunk of the video that gets frozen. If I rewind, it gets stuck on the same frames. Plex team, we need you to do something ASAP

I have had the same problem for at least a few weeks now.

Video freezes for maybe a few seconds while audio continues to play. Server is mostly idle. DTS audio, not sure if that’s what’s causing it.

Really annoying to watch, hoping for a fix
