Samsung Tizen (2018) freezing playback

Hi, i have spent a few days looking into this issue and i have found multiple older posts on the forum that specify my exact problem i have but none has any conclusions why or any fixes.

I play any random movie from my new Samsung Tizen (Q9FN) smart tv, and video randomly stops playing for 1-5 seconds but audio keeps on going.
Said videos plays fine from the same server with Web client, Chromecast, LG smart tv , Android mobile.
Seems to happen only on Transcode since Tizen dont support any bitstream or such.
And yes my server is powerful enough to transcode multiple streams at once.
So is there some secret setting to the Tizen player or is it just flawed?

Would it be a heresy to put an ATV4K in-line there? It loves to play things,
and bet you really want to see Plex shine on that Samsung.
Just thinking of you hitting play and it going yoinks! I can only imagine.

That was a very well made report, btw. There’s several SmartTV topics that
are about stuttering, or freezing, or failure to display when falling back
from HW to SW decoding. I don’t know how deep you want to dig
on your machine as versus using it as a tool.
