I am a plex lifetime user. I have a friend with library access that has acces to let’s say one of my libraries. This friend uses the iOS Plex App on his iPhone. When he starts looking at a movie from my library he has access to, a minute after, he gets the following pop up :
Is this normal ?
It’s normal. The use of the mobile apps isn’t free. Your friend can activate the app (usually that’s a 5$ one-time-activation) to remove that restriction.
Your Plex Pass membership covers this activation for you.
Lol that’s nice, when you take into account how many bugs all these apps have etc, and how the whole picture doesn’t shine as it should, even for lifetime pass users like me. You are great, guys. Keep up the good work. You are almost there.
