Playback not working for Show

If I force a transcode, it displays just fine so I’m assuming it’s something to do with the HDR and the direct play.

Makes me feel good to report a bug in the player and get zero feedback. Glad I put the time into testing for Plex. Thanks guys for making me feel like my time is valuable in testing

That looks like a badly encoded file. 1080p with hdr10?

Are you familiar with H265 and encoding? It will eventually replace H264 as majority of the standards at some point so having HEVC with 1080p reduces file size and improves quality.

If you can share something that supports it being a ‘bad encode’, please show me as I’d like to understand that more.

I have the same file direct playing without issues on other plex apps such as PMP.
