Still, after all these months, “playback options” is completely broken. Attempting to open it while playing a video leads to loss of all interactions. Video keeps playing but accepts no input. Occasionaly options can be accessed by switching to the mini player and then reopening in fullscreen. Occasionally.
Seriously, what are we paying for at this point? This has been broken for months on this crap new GUI.
Playback options works fine for me. I don’t see any problems. Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I saw one post about a similar issue when switching back from the mini player, which I could reproduce. I’m not able to reproduce this issue with the main player only. Is there anything you are doing other than going to the playback options page?
Playing a video in fullscreen. Hit 3 dots, select “playback options” menu disappears and plex on screen controls disappear and it seems to become non-responsive until leaving fullscreen or changing focus to another app and back.
Video size doesn’t seem to make a difference, I wondered if it could have been a scaling issue with 4k content, but it’s the same for 1080p and DVDrips.
Sometimes I can get the options to appear when switching back to plex form mini player, mostly not. I think once they appeared when i dragged up from the bottom of the screen, but I’ve not been able to replicate that behaviour.
That’s the same steps I do and don’t see this issue. What type of device are you using? I wonder if it might be did to some different os. I have a Samsung phone with the normal os.
S21, stock OS here. The earlier, pre-UI update version apps i have sideloaded on my tab a7 lite and an old S8 work correctly.
