Playback stuttering during background file operation (Windows 2008 R2)

Hi.
I’ve running a dedicated server (Windows 2008 R2) and also using OpenPHT on it connected to TV, via HDMI.

On this same server also running there are many background services and hptc apps, like Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrent, Jacket, file sharing, etc. Everything works fine in all circumstances,** except when copying files** on local (gigabit) network **to ** server.

Layout

SERVER (windows 2008 R2 - Q2900 ITX, 8GB DDR3)
60GB SSD - OS and apps running from
2TB + 2TB HDD - RAID 0 (striped), movies and tv shows location
4TB HDD - locally shared backup location + plex temp folder

Plex server app and also OpenPHT running on same computer

<< Gigabit local network >> Desktop (Windows 10 x64)

  • When I read data from any of server disk the playback is good without problems
  • When I copy files from Desktop computer to any of server drives over Windows network, the actual playback on Server’s OpenPHT starting to stutter and lag.
  • When I copying same, other playback devices are not affected on other computers (android or web app players), only the local OpenPHT
  • I tried to slow down the copy speed by TCMD to half speed (50 MByte/sec). Playback still stuttering, but a little bit better playback

I think it could be related to write I/O operations and file sharing service.
There is NO compression or encryption activated on drives.

The problem exists for a very long time, so not Plex or OpenPHT version related
