This is an intermittent problem.
SOMETIMES, the files will play and others it’s just black screen and audio.
The file types are typically x265.
I’ve tested using the same file on multiple occasions.
As in, an unwatched file won’t play, so I go to one that I’ve successfully watched to verify whether it’s a file or system issue.
I did an overlay install yesterday in case it was a codec issue and files didn’t play, and then, they did.
Having this issue too in the last few weeks. Some files I can exit chrome without stopping playback. Upon chrome relaunch the video will play properly. Others I’ve had to revert to local playback with VLC.
This may also be Chrome related since it has recently been version updated also.
This is STILL an issue.
I re-installed Chrome and this worked for a few days.
Then it stopped again.
Re-installing Chrome didn’t work when repeated.
Can anyone comment on this?
