A playbook client would be awesome!!!
Been using plex for a couple years now and its the best media center around for my mac
There are alot of members over at Crackberry with playbooks looking for a Program like this for the playbook, there just isn’t anything out there tight now that even comes close!!
Anyway to get this started?, I have no programming experience or even know where to begin but I am willing to learn or help.
It may be a little easier with the upcoming OS2 coming…I have no programming experience either, but did get my signing keys and Coverted an older version of the android app using rim’s tools. It ouwld connect fine to my server at home, I could browse my library, but there were some issues with playing a file. PLex would crash
Count me as interested.
Very Interested!
The new OS is due for release on the 17th Feb to give it a new lease of life (The Beta is great, and the final version has been previewed at CES just now). Underrated massively, a Plex client would be great and shouldn’t be too hard to port. The Playbook can run Android Apps anyway (at least the 2.0 beta can) so that is another route to get it on there.
The way this tablet plays HD video is brilliant, it deserves Plex (or rather Plex deserves to be shown off on it) - few tablets match its quality for stutter free video playback and real multitasking.
