Player for Mac - Black screen

Hi,

I just tried using Plex Player on my Macbook for the first time (I usually use the web interface), and all I get is a black window! The cursor changes to the pointing finger as I move around the window, so it’s clearly some graphic error.

Any ideas? I’ve reinstalled, rebooted etc… but still just a black window

Running on latest Mojave, on a Macbook Pro 13, 2017.

Server Version#: 1.14.0.5470
Player Version#: 2.22.1.917

PMS logs?
PMP logs?
XML file for the media file?

Hi, thanks for your response, and for the links to get the logs.

I included Player and Server logs, there’s no media file in this case as I can’t even select anything, I only see a solid black window when starting PMP

Any help is very much appreciated

Aha!

It was dark mode on Mojave messing it up! I turned it off for just Plex Media Player and it worked. I’d assumed it had been updated for Mojave dark mode, given I was running a recent release.

Nice! FWIW I run dark mode on my iMac and I don’t have any issues with PMP.

Hmm, that’s strange. At least I have a solution! And glad it works for you in dark mode.
