Here too.

Can you provide some more details? I can’t find in your logs where playback stopped, except where it hit the end of the file.

I was checking a few of the other clients and I believe it could have been internet related to the server. The plex player after the video finished would just have a spinning circle and not continue to the next video. However, I have been experiencing the player crashing and going back to the firestick main menu but I have not been able to capture the logs for that. I have about 70 videos I loop that are under a minute and I have optimized each version to 720p @ 2mbs. I am not sure if a specific video is causing the crash because they play on different TVs. Do you recommend creating multiple optimized versions in case this is the issue?

After the crash, reload the app and grab the logs. Also grab the PMS logs. The info should still be there on what was playing last before the crash.

I have attached the network log. How do I retrieve the PMS logs?plex.txt (33.9 KB)

Here they are. Plex Media Server Logs_2021-02-17_16-55-37.zip (4.7 MB)

@anon18523487 Any update on this?

Sorry, didn’t see the ping when you provided your logs. You have verbose logging enabled. That has too much info and makes identifying issues harder. Please turn of verbose logging, leave debug logging enabled. Recreate the issue and get me new logs from both the Android app and PMS.

@anon18523487 Hello, so I have been having trouble recreating the issue locally so I cannot get those logs. The issue keeps happening at other locations and the logs are only held for 30 minutes on the firestick. I have the server log here and the IP that was having the issue is 96.90.146.89. I found a few 404 GET, which I assume are errors. Plex Media Server.log (6.7 MB)

No, the apps is always logging. The ability to access the logs via the debug URL is only available for 20 minutes, but it should still have all the logging. There is a size limit to the log, but no time limit. What movie/episode were you trying to watch?

I am not sure which video it is because there is about 70 short videos in the loop. I do know one of them or the version does not play and could be causing the crashes. Here is the full log from the server without verbose, the database, Plex Media Server Databases_2021-03-05_13-20-36.zip (12.8 MB) Plex Media Server Logs_2021-03-05_13-20-16.zip (5.0 MB) plex player logs.txt (1.1 MB) and the plex player log from the firestick.

If you’re not sure what video it’s stopping on, then grab the Android log while the spinner is shown.

From your log, the last video I see playing is called “Endless Vacation Widescreen”. It played for about a minute then it was told to stop. I don’t know if this is the video causing the issue and the stop was you pressing the stop button. Can you try playing this video by itself and see if you see the same problem. If so, I will need a copy of that video to try and reproduce.

I played the video and different version 10 times each with no issues. I am going to go through every video and play them to see if I can find the one that fails.
