Apparently I'm to stupid, or to full of chocolate eggs from Easter, that I can't figure out how to play a full album via PlexConnect on the ATV3.
I recently added a Music section to PMS. Now I navigated to Trailers, Library, Music, By Album, highlight album name and press play on the ATV3. I just get a list of the songs when I was expecting the album to start playing, preferable from where I last ended. Even at the list of songs for the album I'm unable to start playing a track and have it continue until the end. Currently, when the song is finished, it just stops and I have to select the next song. Argh.
Can someone please give me the required steps, settings or dance I need to do to get the full album to play from start to finish, or loop the current song or play from the current song until the end?
The aTV audio player is started using those plist files... they are not at all understood.
Music videos is just like movies/TVShows, I guess. There multi-file playback should be possible to implement, but it needs some good ideas as well as a lot of time. With the current architecture, it would conflict with Multi-Part-Videos... see https://github.com/iBaa/PlexConnect/issues/246.

It seems that multi-file playback was being previously suggested for 2 reasons:
1 - continuous playback of episodes. My guess is that this might be handled by pressing play on a season folder. AFAIK, multi part (stacked) videos are used for Movies only so I guess there should be no conflicts.
2 - shuffle. Randomly mix up and play. This is probably useful only for home videos or episodes. I mean actuall content are shorter videos but we are adding them to PMS as either home videos or tv show section types. If technically possible, maybe we could solve it with adding Shuffle button as first item in video list, just like apple does it. This button could perform random mix action while select/play actions on item could remain as they are now.
I realise someone might want to shuffle or continuous play his Movies section as well. Unfortunately, I have no idea how that could be solved and how many users would actually want this.
