When playing a song from a music album on Plex Media Server it automatically plays the next song from the same album. On Plex on aTV3 i only can play 1 song and then have to manually select another song. Is it possible the music automatically plays the next song? And maybe a shuffle feature? :)

Music support is still somewhat limited - the aTV way of working with those .plists is not fully understood. Theoretically everything you asked for should be possible... but so far we didn't spend enough time to figure it out completely. You are invited! :-D

The only way for my ATV3 to play the next song (and the next song after that, etc.) from my Windows 7 computer is by turning on home sharing within iTunes on your PC, and using the 'Computers' icon on the ATV3 screen. Unfortunately you need an Apple ID and password. Fortunately this works well.
For me, unfortunately, I have the same music issue as mderksen (playing only one song at a time) with plexconnect through the ATV3 "Trailers" icon. It would be great to be able to use foobar2000, VLC player, etc. Wish we could have a full PC desktop interface within plexconnect 'Trailers' to run any program. To do so now in my case requires only the PC being directly connected to the TV via HDMI. More connections, more turning things off and on, much less network convenience.
But, fortunately thanks to iBaa, roidy, and other great plexconnect programmers, I can easily play my home videos, and see my family photos using my ATV3. I am truly thankful. :)
