Playing HDR content on Firetv 4K stick doesnt activate HDR on LG OLED

Player Version#: Fire OS 6.2.7.3 (3993687428) - using latest plex version

When I play a 4k HDR video from my plex server to my 4k firestick it plays but doesn’t activate the HDR on my LG OLED55E6V TV. The server says it is direct playing the video and audio.

If I put a HDR film on a memory stick and play it directly on the TV it activates the HDR and the picture is noticeably better. If I play HDR content on the Firestick through Prime Video this also activates the HDR on the TV.

Can someone help with this?
