Playing hi-res and surround audio files

Hi

I’ve got PMS on an Nvidia Shield Pro TV 2019 with Plex as the client. All latest versions and updates.

My understanding has always been that I can’t use Plex to play high res files E.g 24 bit flac, atmos files etc.

Instead I’ve had to use the kodi player on the shield to achieve this.

Can anyone confirm the current limitations on hi res audio playback on the shield?
