Hi,
I can no longer find the playlists in the latest version of Plex Media Player. I can see and use them if I use the web browser to connect to the server, but they are nowhere to be found on the player.
I have also tried with version 2.26 and the issue is there as well.
Also, the news categories page in the player is incorrectly positioned, overlapping the menu on top and cutting off the category tiles located on top of that page.
If you are using the ‘TV’ mode of PMP, you must select a media category first at the top
Do not click with your mouse! Merely press the right cursor button to move the focus from the ‘Home’ button to the media type.
Please provide a screenshot and the physical resolution of your screen.
I connect on the local network, not remotely. The library is of “Movies” type, the playlists were created a while ago. Did the format change ?
The library you have selected in this screenshot is not of “Movies” type. This is a “Other Videos” library.
Yes, you are right, the library is “Other Videos”, however if I use the app on my android phone I go to “other videos” (as you correctly suggested) and the playlists are there, all of them.
There is no playlist access when using the windows application.
I run W10 Home on the laptop where I got the screenshots, but the same “Playlist” and “Categories” problems are present on W10 Professional.
Hey @ra-mason, thanks for reporting those issues! We’ll be looking into the playlists issue. As for the wrong placement of Categories, it should be fixed in the latest update.

The playlist issue is important, please give it a higher priority, that is where I keep all my music videos, Friday evening playlist, you know…
Without that it is pretty plain. Also, that is the time when you get together with people, how can you show them… This help you too get customers. And all my friends don’t mind paying for plex as long as needed functionality is there.
