Playlists in 0.7

Hi,

had no problems with playlists in 0.6. Since upgrading to 0.7 the next item in a playlist does not always start automatically. Current item finishes and instead of starting the next item I’m back in the view where I have to select the next item manually. Very anoying during work outs

Is this a bug or did I miss a setting? Since it sometimes works I guess a bug.

Music, photo, video? Can you please provide more information, have you checked the logs?

Video.

Where would I find the log files containing the needed information?

Ok, did some further testing today. Playlist looks like this:

Item1 90 min
Item2 42 min
Item3 42 min

I have already watched 60 min of item1 yesterday. So today I resumed at 60 min. After item1finished plex did not start playing item2. I had to start manually. After item2 finished, item3 startet automatically (as it should).

In the log file of the server I found the following:

Aug 28, 2015 16:27:11 [0x10c5cb000] ERROR - CERT: Error in TLS handshake: sslv3 alert bad certificate
(repeated a few times)

Aug 28, 2015 16:33:33 [0x10df72000] WARN - Sync: librarySectionChanged for unknown library section -1

The last 2 lines keep repeating every 30 seconds.

At the time were the switch from item2 to item3 was the errors stop and the following line appears:

Aug 28, 2015 17:08:16 [0x1088aa000] WARN - Range could not be satisfied 7931527653 - 0 (total size=7931527653)

Any idea what is going on? Are the any logs from Rasplex I should post here?

More testing.

There seems to be something strange going on with the login process right after starting the Pi. I can see my libraries and in the top right corner I see my user name. So it appears that I’m logged in. Put if I select the menu “far to the left” I don’t see “switch user” but “sign in”. If I sign in the error messages disappear.

But playlists still won’t continue with the next video if I start my playlist by resuming an already started item.

Are there any log files on the Pi I can look for the problem?

It just occurred to me, that a test on my “real” computer would be a good thing. And there the problem is too. So it is not a problem restricted to the Pi but either the Plex server or every player.

Sorry, for not getting back sooner, but you’ve discovered that this is not restricted to Rasplex.

From what I remember reading elsewhere Plex are aware of this.
