I have 53 audio playlists set up and working correctly. When viewing the playlist from a browser launched on the server where the plex media resides I can see all of the playlists fine. When launching the playlist from my ROKU players again it works fine. However, when launching any browser from another compute other than the server I can only see 4 playlist. When adding a song to a playlist it shows me all 53 playlists in the lookup window. However, when clicking on playlist under the Library section I can only see 4 playlists and cannot create a new one. Again this happens from any other computer other than the server and with any browser. Can you please help me with this issue. Attached browser 1.jpg view from any computer other than the server. Attached browse 2.jpg view from browser on the server.
Thanks.
They all appear to be Music playlists, so this probably isn’t going to be the answer, but, just something I noticed:
On the system that is only showing 4 playlists, what happens if you click where it says “Music” and change it to “All?”
When I click on ALL it shows me 2 blank playlists to the right of the other 4 (attachment browser 3.jpg). When I click on one of the blank playlists it tells me there is no page for this (attachment browser 4.jpg).
Hmm, okay, well, I didn’t think that would answer the original question, but I certainly didn’t expect it to open a new one…
That makes me think there could be database corruption, but I’d only be guessing at anything now. Hopefully one of the Ninjas will jump in. @OttoKerner @“MovieFan.Plex”
I hope so… Thanks.
I have also noticed that a file c:\users\My Name\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Logs\Plex Update Service .log.is flagged with some kind of lock that does not allow it to be renamed opened deleted or moved. Says access file denied when trying to back it up.
Just a guess, but that may be locked as long as the Plex server is running.
Plex server was stopped and server was re-booted and plex server was not running same problem.
Is it possible to contact advanced technical support for an issue such as this?
I have tried to copy in an older backup database and also tried to repair the database in C:\Users???\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases folder using sqlie3.exe without any luck in solving this issue.

That would be the Ninjas. There’s no support option other than these forums.

This appears to be an issue with connecting thru the Plex Server US account only using any device. If you use this method to sign on from anywhere “https://app.plex.tv/web/app#!/server/4dbef1f62163380f378e27cbfe092301e5595f17/playlists?key=%2Fplaylists” then the playlists are missing all the time. If you use “http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#” to sign directly to the server from anywhere then the playlists appear to be fine. Would someone please look at this and tell me what needs to be repaired or fixed in order to make the Plex Server US method of entry display the correct number of playlists. Thanks.
PS. To my above post the playlists appear to be all there and fine if you use the Plex Media Player instead of using a browser, Roku or iPhone which have a problem showing all the playlists.
