i’m amazed that you even got something to work… I’m wondering if the scanner scanned and assigned the same id’s upto a certain point… like say if you didn’t have any new artists or tracks added before a certain track… for instance A-B stayed the same so scanner assigned identical id’s… but then something was added in C or D, now going forward the id’s are wrong. I don’t know how the back end works, i’m just speculating.

so on that note… what you CAN do, is try this tool called exportTools… export to csv file… then open it in excel/spreadsheets, and basically recreate the playlist (in Plex) and highlight the spreadsheet as you go… that’s how i’m doing mine.

I’m good with what I got. Relatively small playlist. It’s probably using song id and not file path and just rewriting it. Something better than nothing. I have an offline sync in the car. I’ll sit with a phone or tablet and compare tommorow.
