Anyone else seeing constant crashing while playing any 4K video file? 1080p seems to buffer constantly as well but does not crash. Of course my Shield and Xbox Series X play all files perfectly fine. Anyone else having issues like this? I’ve also kept all of the Plex app settings to default.

View original quality option in the video player panel. Try that.
And take a look at your dashboard to see if your processor is working on overdrive to transcode the video. Make sure hardware acceleration us enabled too
If no problems there, then it could be some inefficiencies in your networks traffic management…then if that’s all patched up and you still experience problems, well you’ve come to the realization that I recently have. And I’ll say no more.
I’m confident it is nothing on my end. All of my devices are hard wired and none have issues but the PS5. It’s not the end of the world as I use the Shield 90% of the time but it would be nice to have Plex working the way it should on the PS5. Hopefully the software gets some much needed updates shortly.
