Sometimes, it gets annoying waiting for PLEX to realize I’m off line. It takes forever to stop scanning for a network. Can you please add an “off line” button, so I can bypass this. Or at least reduce the amount of times the software checks by default. Sometimes I’m literally waiting 3 minutes or more. I have the Samsung S10+
I would like this. Same device too. Please give us a way to make plex play local files only.
yes like the app used to be, with the offline switch. Its damn annoying when i work in remote locations and using plex to play offline sync music.
But for those of us, its easy and quick walk around is to place your device in airplane mode.
Wow… I didn’t even think about that!!! Now, all I have to do is remember to turn it back on for the rest of my WiFi required apps. LOLOLOLOL

you’ll only need to switch it off briefly to load the offline stuff, then turn your radio back on again.
but again, plex… add the offline switch back to the app like it used to be, or try and made this work better.
@Krieg @M1dKn1ght ---- You know, I think I realize what’s happening. The app has to have a connection BEFORE we go off line. In other words, the application must not be completely closed while we’re off line. Example, if you’re underground on the subway, and you had to reboot your phone, it will continue to look for the PLEX server indefinitely (it seems). It appears that we must have PLEX already on in the background. Then and only then, does it appear we can have access to our downloaded content. It has to make that first connection to the PLEX server once it’s up. I think they designed it that way to look for our license info first (I bet you). Damn, not even Spotify does that anymore. WTF? That really sucks!!!
