hi everyone

please i need your help

i am new to plex.tv.

please i have added some videos and music to plex.tv server. 0n my desktop and on my laptop.

But when i go to work i turned the desktop and laptop OFF.

When i am at work,i opened the app for plex.tv.but a message come up telling the server is unavailable.

is there anything or anyway i can access the videos and music on plex.tv server from my app on my mobile phone ,when my desktop or laptop is OFF

i updated plex to the newest version:1.12.0.4829

on the (remote access):there is green tick

on GENERAL tab: there is an orange triangle with explanation mark with a message:
this server is unclaimed and not secured

when i press (claim server) nothing happened,still the same error:

this server is unclaimed and not secured

with your server actually switched off, there’s no way to access the content on the server.
you might look into syncing content to the plex client on your Android / iOS device. this will create an actual copy of certain files on that device, so you can listen to music / watch movies while not connected to your server.
Here’s an article on how to use Mobile Sync on iOS. From what I’ve read it should be pretty much the same for Android.

Keep in mind in order to sync content, your server needs to be up and running!
