Please add Episodes remaining to Continue Watching thumbnails

I checked this on Roku, Android, and web players.

On the Continue Watching list, I’d like to see the number of unwatched episode displayed on the thumbnails of the series. Exactly as they’re displayed in the Library - Browse presentation.

The Continue Watching hub is listing the next episode, not the show (and hence no indicator of how many unwatched episodes are left).

You could probably create a smart collection for this purpose and publish that to the Home Screen:

Hmm. That’s frustrating. I’m sure you can see my motive for this request. I don’t want to have to jump through any hoops to see that information. Right there on the Home screen would be a great place to have it. I would expect it to be a common to want to know that.

There’s some logic there that recognizes that the next episode hasn’t yet been watched, at all, even though it’s on the Continue Watching hub. Whatever logic is catching that, maybe that’s the spot where it can take a look at the series to find the number of unwatched episode. I’m not sure how difficult it would be to then surface that number.

Anyway. That’s my request. Hopefully, it can make it into the request queue.

Actually, a workaround I wouldn’t mind is, when I click into one of those, put the number of unwatched episodes on that page. There’s the strip that shows watched episodes, with the current one at the right. Somewhere on the top or right would seem an appropriate place to display how many episodes remain.
