Please add more transcode bitrate options… specifically between 4 & 8mbps. I’m sure that broadband upload speeds of 5 - 8 mbps is extremely common, and it seems like a joke that the best granularity we get is either 4mbps 720p that looks like crap or 8mbps that constantly stops to buffer. I used to use 6mbps with emby which worked great, and I can’t believe plex still doesn’t have this option.
The problem is compounded by Plex’s refusal to default to direct play even when the video bitrate is under the max remote stream bitrate and the client does support the codec.
