I’m Plex Pass user for many years already, and there is an issues that are still there and they are super annoying. Please fix them.
When I’m watching a movie from MacBook web or desktop app version, sometimes I put it on Pause, close the lid and come back next day. Every time I get back to it and press Play, it just won’t play, every time I have to refresh the page or restart the app to continue watching again. If I do exactly the same with YouTube page, it is always working and continue playing, so why can’t you fix that also?
A long time to install an update for macOS desktop app. Yes, it is related to previous issue, once I restart the app to continue watching, I can’t just do it, I have to wait for a 5 minutes for update installed. Of course it happens not often, but why it is so annoying? Can you just update it while app running and do not disturb users? Please do it.
Deleting a files from Android (and other TV’s) versions bring you to error message that media is no longer available. It is shows no useful information, and instead of getting back to the previous page, every time I see that error message.
Android TV app never refreshing the title list, you have to do it manually. Once new movie added I have to do an annoying moves to get back to another category and back, afterwards I’m getting titles updated.
If a new series being added while I’m still watching previous ones, Plex never pick up new ones. It become stuck on the end of the “old list” and I have to close everything and open it again to continue watching.
There is no way to Optimize Plex versions to H265.
There is still no HEIC/HEIF support, even if I don’t need to view them,I just want to backup my iPhone photos to my Plex server, but I can’t. HEIC/HEIF support in photo libraries (new photo format for iPhones)
When I add media, and Info Match is incorrect, I’m opening the dialog to Fix Match but it is instantly starting to search a Match with an old and incorrect title name. And there is no way to stop that. If you instantly edit the title name and press the Search button, it is continuing to search for the old title, and once search finished it resets the text you entered to previous one. Afterwards it is shows wrong results and you have to start over. In other words, if the search process to fix Match started you can’t stop it, but the behavior looks like it is searching for new title while it is still searching for an old one. A next Fix Match search have to stop previous one instantly.
Please, Plex devs, fix those issues. I believe that Plex made for comfort watching of a media, and not made to wait for annoying things that are happening.
