I’m using Plex on various Android devices. The server was built as SMB on Shield TV.

The device I use is Shield TV, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S22 Normal, Lenovo P11 Pro 2021, ux999 rocket (Car AI Box).

The subtitle size was too small on my tablet and AI Box device, so I used the option to always insert subtitles into the video, and I used it without any problems.

However, since the last 9.24 update, using the subtitle always inserted option causes infinite buffering. please help me Player and server logs, database attached. please please…

Your post is a while ago, but try turning off hardware encoding on the web config page and try again. If this fixes the issue, it’s a known problem and it is being worked on…
