They WERE there and played, but now won’t show up, and some disappeared when I corrected the info. I have used all the proper naming conventions. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling latest version, but that did not work.
There are 4 other movies with the same problem…

Look up the actual titles of your movies. It not “Cars 1”, but just “Cars”. Cars (2006) - Release info - IMDb
Particularly if you use arbitrary subfolders for grouping movies (like in this case), you better get all the details right or some of the movies won’t get matched (or get mismatched).
Enable the “Duplicates” filter in Plex to see if “Cars” has been added as a different version into one of the other movies.
If you have a particularly difficult time matching a movie, you can “force” a match by adding the numerical ID of either the IMDb or TheMovieDB to the file/folder name.

btw. “Mater’s Tall Tales” is also not “Cars 4”. It’s not even listed as a movie, but as a TV show. As such it won’t appear at all in a library of the type “Movies”. Mater's Tall Tales (TV Series 2008–2012) - IMDb

Thank you. Renaming the movies to the original titles worked. Although, they had worked the way I named them a year or so ago.
