I'm having a hell of a time getting one movie to show up. It's "101 Dalmatians (1961)". I have followed the naming guide and made sure it is spelled correctly, just like above. All my movies are in a Movies folder, and each movies is in it's own subfolder as so:
Movies ---> 101 Dalmatians (1961) ---> 101 Dalmatians (1961).mkv
I also have poster art, .nfo files, etc. in each folder which is used for my Boxee Box. The file is a .mkv that is encoded in h.264. So I'm pretty sure it's not a naming or format issue. I was actually able to get it to show up at one point, but then it disappeared when I deleted a different movie. I just tried deleteing my entire library and re-creating one, but that did not help. Anyone have any ideas? Could this be a scanner glitch?
edit: I'm using Plex Media Server 0.9.11.7.803 on Mac OS X 10.9.5
I apologize, I mis-typed. The movie folder and file are named correctly, they are "101 Dalmatians (1961)" exactly. And yes, I am aware there are two movies with that title.
Ok, here are my logs. After the rescan, the movie actually showed up. I closed the window and when I opened it over 5 minutes later... it was gone from the library!
Nevermind, it's there... it's under "One Hundred and One Dalmatians". Hah! I still have a problem with one file not showing up though... I have a total of 279 movies, but yet in the library it says there are 278. Is their an easy way to find out which one is missing? I thought it was this movie!
@interconnect Thank you so much. I literally had this exact problem. I can’t believe a google search of “plex one movie missing” got me here.
I’ll never find it under “O” in the future… oh well…
