Is there a way to have the Xbox Plex app automatically select the appropriate audio track as opposed to defaulting to AAC Stereo? I’m assuming that this is happening due to the MP4 standard (AAC Stereo Default track), but I know for a fact that prior to 1.2.1.0, my Xbox was selecting the 5.1 audio track in all of my MP4 video files. Now, it appears to be defaulting to the stereo track. It wouldn’t be that big of an issue (you can always select the other track) if it were not for the fact that 1.2.1.0 crashes when you select a different audio track with MP4 files (known issue that is being worked on).
The Xbox One app still does this. My Big Bang Theory episodes have both stereo and 5.1 surround audio tracks, but it always has the stereo track selected by default. I have to switch for each episode that I watch. Once I have it switched, it seems to stay but it would be great to not have to change it.
The Roku app automatically selects the 5.1 audio track, and it is very convenient.
