As a long time Plex user I was surprised to learn that a 64 bit Server build existed. The performance improvement when switching is such that I’m annoyed that my Server didn’t have as much as a notification to inform me. Apparently I am not alone! I posted about my experiences on Reddit and you can see how many people are in the same boat:
So the very simple feature request is some kind of persistent but dismissible notification in the Server admin web view to nudge 32 bit users to consider switching.
Plex team, seriously, why have you not told us about this? We trust you to keep us apprised of the latest updates…and after all those videos about performance and optimization and such…
