PLEX 64-bit install on Syno DS 415+ dont work

Hi,

i try to install PlexMediaServer-1.12.3.4973-215c28d86-x86_64 on my Syno DS 415+, DSM ist aktuell.
When i Try to install it will seems to start install, after 15 minutes there ist noc change in the Message there stand only " Verarbeitung läuft"
Maybe someone can give me an advise?

Did you attempt to open first time using http://ip.addr.of.syno:32400/web ?

If Yes then:

  1. Open Control Panel - Shared Folders. Add R/W permission to your username for the Plex share.
  2. Open File Station -> Plex / Library / Application Support / Plex Media Server
  3. Delete Preferences.xml
  4. Right-click Logs. Compress to Logs.zip
  5. Attach the ZIP file with your next post.

What is the LAN IP of your Synology? What is the IP address of your computer?

ok, i try to explain.
pl 32 bit iss/ was installed on the NAS
then i want to use/ test hardware transcoding
i try to install the 64 bit version
first uninstall 32bit, the restart the nas und try to install 64 bit installer.
dont work

Are you using DSM 6.0 or higher?
Hardware transcoding requires an active PlexPass to activate.
