Plex Agent Incorrectly Numbered Episodes

Where or how do we report incorrect information on the Plex Agent?

Example in Star Trek Voyager Season One. Episodes 1 and 2 are a two part episode. (Correct # > Plex #).
Episode 1 > Episode 1
Episode 2 > Episode 1
Episode 3 > Episode 2

What are the file names. Mine are ( = folder name)

[Star Trek- Voyager (1995)]
[Season 01]
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E01
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E02
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E03
…
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E16

I have found it best to name everything as Plex recommends. It was a PITA for a bit until I did but since then, past and future matching has been almost trouble free (had an issue with the Three Stooges).

Change that shows ordering to TVDB (Aired) if that is how you have your files named.

If you mainly base everthing on TVDB in that library then you can change the library itself to use that by default.

Thanks! That did the trick. I’m numbering them off of how the actual episodes were numbered. They’re numbered correctly on Paramount+, on my DVDs… It’s just wrong on the Plex Agent. :slight_smile:

Yeah, that’s the problem. There should be 16 episodes but the Plex Agent only thinks there are 15. BigWheel had a fix though!

I think I know the problem. You must have ripped it from the same DVD set I did. Episode 1 and 2 are on the same file, which was not uncommon for the episode premier to be a 2-part episode.

Is the file for episode 1 roughly twice the size of the other 14? If so, you have Episode 1 and 2 on that single file. It is not bad but here is the fix. Rename them to the following:

[Star Trek- Voyager (1995)]
[Season 01]
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E01-E02
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E03
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E04
…
Star Trek- Voyager (1995) - S01E16

The plex agent uses both. It defaults to loading up TMDB which in this case for this particular show is different than TVDB. You have to tell it which to use if one does not work,
