If I have the various South Park specials properly named, they simply show up as Episode 44 with no related metadata. If I toggle over to use the TVDB as the primary agent, the full metadata is pulled in right away. Then of course I have to be constantly reminded that I’m using what is considered a legacy agent.
Is there anyway for a permanent fix for this either local or server side?
Define “properly named”.
Which episode listing are you using?

and which “episode ordering” has been selected in the properties of the library and/or the show?

I actually could not get them to unmatch by refreshing metadata so I will just leave it as is until a new episode drops I did notice the plex tv series scanner defaulted to using the movie database for episode ordering. I toggled that over to tvdb and hopefully that will resolve the issue.
